What is the Circular Economy?
The circular economy is a smarter, more sustainable way of using resources. Instead of the traditional take-make-waste model, it focuses on designing out waste, keeping materials in use for longer, and regenerating natural systems. It’s about rethinking how we create, use, and reuse everything – from products and packaging to services and systems. Circular thinking helps organisations reduce costs, cut carbon, and build resilience – while creating long-term value for people, communities, and the planet.
